Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced HR professional to join a large public sector client as an Employment Relations and Reward Manager on an initial 12 month contract, which has the possibility for extension after this. The purpose of the role is to provide support in the creation and delivery of HR Policy, employment relations and reward guidelines for the business.

Responsibilities:

. Assisting and/or leading in the review and development work on a range of both new and existing HR policies, procedures and frameworks
. Assisting in the preparation and planning of reward interventions including annual salary outcomes
. Providing advice and support to managers on employment relations and reward processes to ensure consistency in delivery
. Monitoring the company's compliance with statutory employment requirements eg employment policies

Experience required:

. Full CIPD qualification or be working towards (or similar)
. Experience in the development of HR policies and procedures
. Experience of applying key aspects of employment law
. Previous experience with either management of employee reward or employment relations (both would be desirable)
. Excellent communication skills
. The proven ability to manage input in to multiple projects
. Experience working with Trade Unions (desirable)
