Introduction: The Materials & Device Techn. Development (MDT) department is part of the Research and Development organisation in Venlo. MDT assures the development of competitive products by realizing the involved print (imaging) processes with the right print quality and reliability. MDT also takes care of development and engineering of the strategic consumables and modules that are essential in the printing process. MDT makes the design and realize the technology that is needed.

Positions main tasks: For a new ink development, production facilities need to be realized with a high intrinsic quality level. The main task consists of the development of reliable and reproducible measuring methods.

Tasks/responsibilities will include:

- The selection of suitable measuring methods
- Development analytic protocols and their corresponding performance characteristics (egprecision, accuracy, and working range)
- The translation of test results into relevant ink quality parameters.
- Reporting of test results and proposed end-working methods suitable for transfer to production facility.

Required area of education: Bachelor or Masters in the field of (applied) physics. Experience in the field of material sciences is preferred

Professional skills: A Team player who feels comfortable in a multi-disciplinary environment. Pragmatic and result-oriented without compromising the quality of the work
