EMPIRICA SUPPORT SPECIALIST

An Empirica Support Specialist is urgently required for an immediate start with major client in great location.

The Empirica Support Specialist will have the following responsibilities and skills-

Responsibilities

- Assist in Empirica Signal Detection User Account management/configuration by creating new and revising existing Empirica Signal Detection accounts, coordinate periodic review of active accounts.
- Manage the Empirica Signal Detection mailbox
- Triage requests received in the Empirica Signal Detection mailbox within established timeframes.
- Process requests, verify completion and update the tracker.
- As needed, forward requests to Oracle and involve vendor in resolving request.
- Review, prioritize and approve non-support related requests that cannot be resolved by Internal or Oracle support or those resulting in configuration changes following change request process.
- Upon receipt of configuration changes from Signal Detection Office (SDO), translate the creation or the deactivation of a product in Empirica Signal Detection into Oracle format, verify the changes implemented by Oracle.
- Upon receipt of configuration changes from SDO, create schedule, translate into Oracle format for Signal refresh. Verify the changes implemented by Oracle
- Coordinate through email, on a quarterly basis, or when data is available, with SDO and Vendor, the timing for installation of new data. Upon receipt of completion of the signal refresh, verify requested changes. Notify the SDO of refresh completion.
- Coordinate requests for changes to the URLs on the Empirica Signal Detection home page, and modifications to field sizes in Topics tab with stakeholders/vendor.
- Manage Empirica Signal Detection topics (Manage pick-list values, Reopen a closed Topic, Change accessibility of a Topic Field, Delete a Topic, a Topic Action).
- Grant access to Signal Management Sharepoint
- Execute reports from Empirica Signal Detection tool
- Communicate important system information, such as system outages to users
- Participate in regular and ad-hoc meetings as appropriate relative to any of the above topics.
- Lead or participate in projects as assigned.
- Provide weekly updates.

Skills :

- Signal management experience
- experienced healthcare professional or computer science professional with PV experience
- 3-5 years minimum experience in PV
- Minimum of 2 years experience with AE database queries and reports
- Knowledge of Signal Management regulation and process desired
- Oracle Argus safety database experience desired
- Empirica database experience expected
- Proven in-depth understanding of all aspects of safety case processing
- Understanding of global regulations pertaining to adverse event reporting
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook and Access)
- Ability to learn quickly and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understand and use of medical terminology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- English language fluency
- Customer service orientation
- Complete attention to detail
- Excellent memory for data history and nuances

Rates: Excellent!

Contract: 6 - 12 months+
