EMIR Reporting Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We have an outstanding contract opportunity for an EMIR Reporting Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. This role sits within the GTR Middle Office team which provides a full and dedicated support to all rates and credit business'.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

- The individual will be required to establish close working relationships at all levels with Front Offices and all support areas. These include Credit Risk, Finance, Market Risk, Legal, IT, Settlements, Collateral Teams and Confirmations - allowing for an integrated and proactive approach to the business' requirements.
- The individual will need to be able to understand, follow and where necessary, compile/contribute to MI in relation to their business in terms of its controls as well as adhering to and operating within predefined limits or caps that relate to KRI or KPI's attributable to their business. The individual will also need to make a contribution to improving the team and department's operating model in light of evolving business and regulatory requirements.
- Detailed knowledge of the front to back processes required to maintain a stable and controlled trade environment will be a necessity, as ensuring that all audit and control points are addressed for both existing and new products will be a main responsibility.
- Supporting and controlling the daily business alongside life cycle management of existing inventory will be a major part of the role however there will be a need for involvement in and running of related business projects, new business, data analysis and issue remediation - all of which must be executed professionally following business principles and relevant procedures.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Middle Office experience ideally within an Investment Banking environment
- Derivative Product knowledge (preferably credit and rates)
- Working knowledge of EMIR/Dodd-Frank
- Strong communication skills
- Good eye for detail
