EMC Support Engineer/Brussels/Up to 4 Years of Contract Work

EMC SUPPORT ENGINEER/BRUSSELS/UP TO 4 YEARS OF WORK

I have a fantastic requirement with One of the world's most prestigious organizations.

They require a Support Engineer to assist with the support of the EMC Networks.

The position is English and French speaking and the project has up to 4 years' worth of work.

Competencies required:

- Support for EMC Networks
- Testing and acceptance of new hardware (PC Desktops, Laptops)
- Support for Windows Server 2003 platform and Windows Server 2008 (R2) and Windows XP Professional and Windows 7
- Testing, monitoring and maintenance of deployment images (XImage, Sysprep)
- Support and maintenance of reference configurations of the European Commission
- Support management tools such as Landesk Management Suite and Landesk Patch Manager, Microsoft WAIK (ImageX WIM format, WinPE, USMT), etc ...
- Support for EMC Vmware
- Support tools Disk Wiping (including Blancco Blancco Pro BDC)

Profile:

- Excellent knowledge of EMC Networker
- Excellent knowledge of Hardware (PC Desktops, Laptops)
- Excellent knowledge of environmental XP Professional, Windows 7 and Windows 2003/2008/2008R2
- Excellent knowledge of product distribution software and "asset management" (preferably Landesk Management Suite)
- Excellent knowledge of tools such powermanagement for PCs
- Knowledge of ITIL version 3
- Minimum 6 years of experience in supporting the Windows platform and management tools
- Sense of responsibility
- Ability to service and teamwork
- Rigorous monitoring problems
- Good communicator (languages EN, FR spoken and written)
- Holding a Windows 7 certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of EMC VMware would be an asset
