Embedded Engineer - Bath - £50,000

I am currently looking for an Embedded Windows Engineer for an extremely exciting opportunity for a growing client in the Bath area. My client are a successful Software design and development company who offer consultancy, project management, design and development services.

Key skills:

- Embedded Windows CE operating system porting & development using C or C++ (i.e. Board Support Packages and Device Drivers close to the hardware level).
- Experience of driver level porting, creation, design, implementation and integration.
- ARM, Intel or Renesas processor knowledge.
- Building and configuring operating systems.

The successful applicants will be responsible for the design and development of kernel configuration, bootloaders, drivers and other system-level OS components such as package management and deployment for various windows-based embedded systems. Ideal candidates will be experienced low-level system software developers.
