Embedded Systems Manager

Working with the engineering, manufacturing and senior management teams based at Head Office in Colchester, you will play a critical role in starting up a new site based in Berkshire.

As a successful Embedded Systems Manager, you will have experience of both embedded software and electronics hardware development. As your team may initially be small to start off with, this would suit someone who is still able to be fully active with hands on design and development alongside engineers.

Requirements:
* Degree educated individual in electronics or equivalent
* Previous commercial experience of embedded product development
* Hands on embedded software and electronics hardware design & development experience
* Embedded microprocessor experience (preferably Intel)
* Proven experience in leading small teams in project delivery
* Experience of full product development (from requirements capture through to design and transfer to production and beyond)
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

This will suit someone who enjoys working in a small company environment and can work in a fast paced environment. There may be opportunities for international travel to work alongside your R&D/ engineering counterparts based in the US and India.

Salary will depend upon level of experience and your overall package will include attractive benefits.
