Embedded Systems Engineer

Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of electro-mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
- Assist technicians in developing the design and testing of products using tools, equipment or software.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- BS in Engineering Degree required, MS in Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
- Must have two college level controls courses and understanding of sensor and actuator basics.
- Requires 3-5 years past industry experience developing Embedded systems that provide information or control of functions.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with MATLAB/Simulink is required.

- Ability to make common computations and analyze data.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer generated reports.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
