Role

Aquacheck Engineering is a small, well-established business, with a reputation for innovative problem solving, with excellent distribution networks and customer relationships providing significant opportunities for business growth and career progression.

You will work full-time on this 3-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the Manchester Metropolitan University and Aquacheck Engineering, to develop and launch a range of products incorporating Advanced Metering Infrastructure for sale within the water industry. Employed and supported by a team of academic experts from the university, you will be based at the company's premises in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

KTP is the largest graduate recruitment programme in Europe.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates will have experience in analogue and digital circuit design and simulation; RF and/or 4G; power supply design; FPGA; embedded or low level programming (e.g. C VHDL); Digital Signal Processing; database management system; and programming language (Java).

You will be confident, with good inter-personal skills and capable of working with a range of people across the Aquacheck team, its collaborators and customers.

You will also be a self-starter with high levels of initiative and motivation, and the ability to work autonomously to agreed targets and goals.
