Embedded System Engineer (m/w)

For our customer, an international R&D company involved in cutting-edge mobile technologies, we are currently looking for an Embedded Hardware Engineer (m/f)

Project Start: 25.07.2016
Project duration: 4 months initially (12 Month extension)
Location: Munich

Task Description:

- Managing full life cycle of the chip including design, debugging and delivery.
- Department focusses on Firmware development of semiconductor components using Assembler for protocol processing
- Working closely together with Chief Architect for planning
- Maintain firmware development environment
- Support integration on FPGA and chip
- Progress reporting and documentation of deliverables
- Embedded Code is already saved as source in system. Our client needs an engineer with an interest in Low-Level programming - C - to work together with the Assembler in building the code.

Your Skills:

- Layer 2/Layer 3 Embedded Software Development
- RTL Chip Design/Integrated Circuit Design
- Hardware Design and Verification Knowledge
- Software for embedded systems (Low-Level C)
- Assembly/Assembler for Embedded Systems
- Unix Scripting - Perl
- TCP/IP / network protocol experience

Nice to have:

- Previous experience in companies with high interaction with virtual international teams
- Flexible, "can do" approach to problem-solving
- Intel processor architecture
- Linux / Android Kernel
- R&S Test Equipment Knowledge
- Python Scripting
- C# Language
