Embedded Software Engineer - C/ C++, Intel microprocessor, multi-tasking OS - Berkshire

A great new opportunity has arisen for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a leading technology company looking to open a new site based in Berkshire. This is a great opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to gain a lot of visibility and responsibility for your own designs whilst enjoying the benefits of joining a global company.

As a successful Embedded Engineer, you will work on multiple projects and be responsible for the full product development lifecycle. All products are designed in-house and a lot of software runs on a range of different platforms and operating systems. Your involvement will vary from system and device driver development to low level BIOS diagnostics firmware development.

Skills include:
* Degree educated individual in electronics, computer science or similar
* Low level programming in embedded C/ C++
* Software development interfacing with hardware
* Multi-tasking operating system
* Microprocessor based work (ideally Intel)
* Embedded real time software development
* Diagnostics software experience
* Device driver development (Windows or Linux preferable)

Salary circa £45,000 pa with attractive benefits package but for the right candidate there will be scope to offer a higher basic (depending on your level of experience)
