Embedded Software Engineer

Several exciting contract opportunities have arisen for experienced Embedded Software Engineers.

Successful candidates should have experience of Embedded C software development and be au fait with Autocode generation and Modelling and Simulation tools.

Multiple contract positions exist including Embedded C development roles and Software Tool engineers with C#, Python and Perl experience.

Software Engineer

Responsibilities
The Software engineers main activities will be drawn from, but not limited to, the following:

Software

- Use of RTW to generate auto code from Matlab/Simulink from executable specification.
- Manual coding of software from model and textual specification using MISRA C under a defined process
- Configuration Controlled and Managed by ClearQuest/ClearCase
- Static Analysis using QAC to MISRA (plus local) guidelines
- For PowerPC (Diab Data Compiler) target platforms

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory:

- Educated to degree level
- Experienced in an Embedded application field
- Previous experience in developing Real Time systems
- Hands on experience on Matlab/Simulink and development of Embedded 'C' code

Ideal
- Automotive experience
- Understanding of diesel application and associated fuel injection equipment
- Hands on experience on RTW
