JOB TITLE: EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (MELBOURNE, FL)
HOURLY PAY RATE $50.00 (12 MONTHS ASSIGNMENT)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

~Software engineer responsible for definition, development and integration of Embedded software application for use in train communication and control systems.
~Will design, implement and test software, ensuring quality specifications are met.
~Will participate actively in design and code reviews.
~Will use configuration management tools to control software and changes to software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- BSEE or BSCS required.
- 5 + years experience in Embedded software development using C/C++ programming language is required.
- Experience with GREENHILLS OR OTHER EQUIVALENT CROSS-COMPILER.
- Experience with MICROC/OS-II OR OTHER EQUIVALENT RTOS.
- Experience with developing SAFETY CRITICAL APPLICATION USING DO-178B OR CENELEC
- Experience with version control system such as StarTeam required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have good verbal and written communications skills.
