Embedded Software Engineer

Software Engineers required by leading Aerospace organisation in Cheltenham.

This will be an initial 5 month contract.

As Embedded Software Engineer you will be working in a team of 7 Software Engineers

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers who have been working with Real Time Embedded software to DO178B standards.

You will be responsible for Integration testing on target hardware (Black Box/White Box) and authoring/reviewing Software Documentation.

Essential skills/experience

- Experience of software life cycle within aerospace industry
- Integration testing on target hardware (Black Box/White Box)
- Experience of working to DO178B standards
- Documentation updates
- Executing Integration test scripts on test rig

Desirable

- Use of STRS test tool

Skills & Competencies

- Appropriate Engineering degree
- Positive personal traits would include initiative, pro-activeness and enthusiasm
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving and solution building skills
- Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding internal and external (customer) milestones
