Embedded Software Engineer

OUR CLIENT IS THE LEADING COMPUTER COMPONENTS COMPANY SEEKING AN EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER FOR A PREMIUM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY.

Responsibilities include development, integration, and system testing.

REQUIREMENTS

- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with ~5 years of experience in the development of Embedded software or device drivers on Linux
- Demonstrated experience with Linux Kernel and application development
- Experience with RTL, chipset and/or SoC, and full chip simulation environments
- Strong C/C++ and debugging skills
- Experience with developing software applications on Windows system
- Strong problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate

NICE TO HAVE

- Strong knowledge or experience of X86 or similar
- Specific development experience following formal software development life cycles
- Experience of system integration tests and performance tuning
