Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer - contract -Midlands

My midlands based client require an engineer to work on a contract for a minimum of 3 months. This contract is with a well established company and may well lead to other contract opportunities.

The basic 3 requirements of this role are:

- Experienced embedded Software Engineer with excellent knowledge of C
- Good working knowledge of hardware sufficient to troubleshoot integration problems.
- Have worked with CAN

Below I have detailed some of what the successful candidate will be required to do:

- Get the development environment of compiler, emulator and breadboard up and running
-. Get a software comms stack written for the application up and running and proven on the breadboard.
- Port existing source code for a full application onto new system
- Integrate new drivers for Stepper motor drivers and GDC into system.
