Software Engineer - Embedded C/C++, industrial protocols - Permanent - Wiltshire

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer with embedded C and C++ experience to join a successful privately owned UK company experiencing rapid growth in the Wiltshire area. As a successful Software Engineer, you will be responsible for new product development and R&D.

Requirements:

Degree educated in computer science, electronics or equivalent
Commercial experience of software development in an embedded environment
Advanced skills in embedded C and C++
Scada digital protocols (e.g. DNP3, IEC61850, IEC60870) - advantageous
Industrial protocols (e.g. CANbus, MODbus)
Networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet)
Knowledge of electronic circuit design (preferable)

You will be hands on, self motivated and will enjoy writing bespoke embedded code. This will suit someone looking to develop themselves as an engineer as you will get ample opportunities to get involved in all aspects of the business, including customer facing responsibilities. The company adopts a meritocratic environment and you will enjoy working in a friendly environment.

Salary will depend upon experience c £40,000 pa.
