Embedded Software Developer - Medical Devices

We are currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Developer for our client who develops smart critical care Medical Devices such as oxygenation and ventilation systems. These systems use Embedded software feature to provide Real Time feedback so the most fragile of patients that include adults, paediatric and neonatal population receive the best support for their lungs.

Responsibilities:

- Specify, analyze (architecture and design), develop and test low-level Embedded Real Time software for ventilation systems.
- Undertake state-of-the-art methodology - Driven Development model and use tools such as IBM Rhapsody, Windriver, VxWorks, Linux all within C++ programming language.

Requirements:

- BSc or MSc in Engineering systems specifically in Computer Science/Software or Embedded Software
- C ++/UML knowledge in the Embedded environment and are motivated to use and expand it in the programming of Microcontroller software
- Experience in control engineering
- Exposure within with Embedded Linux, RTOS or VxWorks
- creation and execution of software tests on different level
- using the IBM Rhapsody development environment

Other desirable experience:

- in requirements engineering
- with Cantata ++ unit test
- in software architecture and design
- with Matlab/Simulink
