Embedded Software Developer - C Linux

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - C, LINUX

ROLE:

To operate in a multi-disciplinary agile team following an iterative development model - scrum - ensuring quality by applying different validation techniques (unit, component, features, etc) during development and continuous integration, making use of advanced Software tools

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years in Embedded software development

Developing applications/services for an Embedded device managed by a linux based OS

Debugging/testing on an Embedded device

Network programming in a GNU/linux environment

SKILLS:

. Strong coding skills in C, Scripting languages, Shell

. Knowledge of the linux operating system concepts

. Knowledge of OpenWRT distribution and build tools is a big plus

. Able to write an architecture/design document.

. Excellent testing and debugging skill and familiar with related SW test tools

. Good knowledge of computer network concepts (bridge, switch, routing, TCP/IP, Firewall, NAT, etc).

. Familiar with usage of GNU toolchain (gcc, gdb)

. Knowledge of source versioning systems (GIT) is a plus

Must be fluent in English; Dutch useful
