Embedded Software Communication Engineer

The client is a market leader within the power Generation industry, due to plans of growth within the business they require additional support in embedded software development team.The Role:

Deployment of Algorithms from Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow

Capture requirements, Design, Implement and Test Control System Software modules

Present technical solutions to the management team and non-technical business leaders

Deliver validated solutions to agreed time scales

Represent the business in technical discussions with customer and suppliers

Fault finding, analysis and documentation

Suiteable candidates must have demonstrable experience in the following:

Extensive experience in Embedded C/C++ Programming

Control Theory

Systems Deployment from Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow

Experience of RTOS programming -Wind River Linux, VxWorks, QNX or similar

Finite State Machine Design

Configuration of build-systems -Makefiles, etc

Working Experience Real-time Scheduling Problems and Solutions

Working knowledge of well-designed Layered System Design

Flexible working - Comfortable working in both rapid development environments and formal methods environments

Version Control - Subversion, ClearCase, Synergy or similar

Understands the value of, and is able to produce, High quality Documentation
