Embedded Software and Firmware Developer

Our client is the leading computer components company seeking an EMBEDDED SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE DEVELOPER to contribute to software and firmware development for a custom data acquisition board interfacing to an industrial-grade single-board computer. Work includes multi-channel data acquisition, development and optimization of signal processing algorithms, communications to server-based host, testing, and documentation.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect, develop, test, and document code for data acquisition Microcontroller as well as CPU on single-board computer. The goal is to collect multiple channels of data, analyze with proprietary algorithms, and communicate results to server. Optimize algorithms for performance. Implement communications protocol to send/receive data and commands between server, SBC, and data acquisition unit.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 10+ years Senior Level Developer with extensive Embedded systems experience
- C/C++
- Embedded software, firmware and device driver development on a variety of platforms
- Linux/Unix
- Experience developing communications via USB protocol
- Experience with standard dev tools: revision control, issue tracking, profilers, debugging, etc.
