Embedded Linux Specialist (m/f)

For our customer, an international telecommunications company, we are currently searching for a Embedded Linux Specialist (m/f)

PROJECT START: asap

PROJECT DURATION: 6 Months +

LOCATION: Munich

DESCRIPTION:

-development and maintenance of embedded mobile software with focus on battery management and sensor drivers
-Processing defect and enhancement tickets generated by customer and/or internal project resources
-Analysing customer project requirements transforming into a platform conformant architecture
-Defining work pages for own and if necessary other components
-Implementation including verification and review process of the enhancement
-General tasks on ticket handling
-First level of contact for customer project with interface to other project teams

REQUIREMENTS:

-Standard GNU/Linux toolchains, shells and build tools
-Version control and source code review systems like Git, Gerrit
-Linux Kernel drivers development experience with focus on i2c devices and for memory mapped peripherals
-Knowledge about Linux Power Supply Class is advantageous
-Power management in Linux/Android as a plus
-Preferably, knowledge about Android software stack for battery management
