Software Engineer - Linux Platform Level- Windows CE.

Permanent, Wiltshire - £35,000 -£50,000 + benefits

A requirement has arisen in the Southwest of England for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer with Windows CE experience to join a team of software consultants who specialise in Embedded Linux Software Security, Consumer Electronics, Mobile Communication and Medical devices.

As the successful candidate you will be situated in the software development team and you will be responsible for the analysis, design and development of existing and new software for various different projects. You will write codes and define test systems and applications. Converts product or project specification and procedures to detailed design specifications for implementation of products and services.

Skills required:

- Minimum of 5 years commercial experience.
- OS internals and device drivers
- Highly competent in C, C++ programming languages
- Windows CE experience at platform level
- Experience of RTOS
- Kernel and Linux software experience.
