Embedded Firmware Engineer - Permanent, Southwest - £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading organisation located in Dorset for a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join a leading Military organisation.
As the successful Firmware engineer your role will be to create, debug and test firmware for electronic devices that are supplied to the MOD. Daily responsibilities will include thorough liaison with other members of the multifunctional team to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
You will have a technical responsibility to deliver innovative solutions and develop firmware that will enable existing and future product lines to remain competitive.
To be considered you will have all or most of the following:
Essential:
- Degree qualification - 2:1 or above
- 2 - 5 years experience in firmware development
- C, C++ programming skills
- Assembly language
- Experience of dealing with low power electronics
- Ability to read schematics and knowledge of electronic hardware
- Understanding of Printed Circuit Boards
