Embedded Firmware Developer

Our client is the leading computer components manufacturer with an immediate opening for a SENIOR LEVEL EMBEDDED FIRMWARE DEVELOPER.

START IS ASAP

Candidates must be local or willing to relocate within a week of offer.

Position is required to be onsite in Oregon ONLY.

We're looking for extensive Embedded systems experience for post silicon validation. Must be familiar with SoC test, hardware emulation with FPGA boards and pre-silicon (Verilog) simulation environment and tools. Candidate will architect, develop, test, and document code for Microcontroller to validate functional correctness of silicon IP. Execute code on FPGA emulation board and development board. Validate functional correctness of SoC through firmware running in Embedded Microcontroller.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- C/C++
- Embedded software, firmware and device driver development on a variety of platforms
- Experience with standard development tools: revision control, issue tracking, profilers, debugging, etc.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

- IA development tools
- Altera or Xilinx development tools
- Verilog and Verilog simulators

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
