The Company:

My client is a major organisation within the Digital TV/Broadcast domain and due to their continued growth they have a new requirement for an Embedded Engineer to join them on site in the Netherlands. The successful Embedded Engineer will be working on the development of video services for Digital TV and Broadcast deployments across Europe; therefore a detailed understanding of Digital TV platforms is essential.

Embedded Engineer/CPE Specialist Key Responsibilities:

*Reviewing and approving technical specification from vendors
*Participate in the Design, Development and integration phases to ensure the delivered system adheres to the architecture and design.
*Validate there is alignment between the product requirements and the developed solutions.

Embedded Engineer/CPE Specialist Key Skills:

*Embedded SW development and architecture
*CPE/STB
*Linux
*DVB and IP video
*Good understanding of web technologies.
*Good understanding of Conditional Access and DRM.

This will be a 6-12 Month contract as part of a long term project so we expect multiple extensions.
