Embedded Engineer

Seeking an Embedded engineer to work in Hertfordshire. Fantastic Salary and Benefits package which can be outlined upon application.

You will be working for a global leader in the Test and Measurement Instrumentation field.

I'm seeking someone to assist in the development of real-time embedded software, in particular for the control and logging infrastructure and Layer 1 controller for the LTE protocol stack development.

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

* LTE and/ or UMTS either in handset or basestation development as a design and implementation role.
* Real-time embedded application development using the C programming language
* VxWorks or similar embedded real time operating system
* ASN.1 encoding/decoding
* Knowledge of basic principles of LTE L2 and L1
* Knowledge of LTE network architecture, bearer management and IMS
* IP based data applications, such as FTP, HTTP, RTP
* Cooperative team player, who is pragmatic and adaptable.
