Embedded C++ Software Engineer Job

EMBEDDED C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in LEWISTOWN, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:
- Database or system administration experience
- Experience in database backup, recovery, troubleshooting, and tuning
- Production support to database applications

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Working in an Agile team to develop innovative software solutions for Ultrasound and Eddy Current industrial portable Non Destructive Testing (NDT) instruments, the Embedded Software Engineer is in charge of all aspects of instrument Operating System (OS) and drivers.
- Develop UI/UX on Embedded touch screen devices.
- Develop system and unit tests software as well as diagnostic tools and performance evaluation tools.
- Write software documentation and provide assistance in developing manuals and other support documentation for customers
- Interact with customers on software related issues
- Communicate with all levels and disciplines inside and outside the company
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience developing software and drivers for Microsoft Windows Embedded systems.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Proven Experience with Qt/QML (version five (5) a plus)
- Experience with JSON, and HTML5
- Experience with database (SQLite a plus)
- Experience with Embedded OS: QNX, Embedded Linux, LynxOs, (WEC7 a plus)
- Familiarity/experience with Version Control software packages (Clear Case, SVN, Team Foundation Server, etc.)
- experience with Object Oriented programming principals, C+ (C+ a plus)
- Effective team player and problem solving abilities
- Attention to details and documentation
- Experience with/knowledge of electronic hardware and associated test equipment
- Experience with Agile project execution
