Embedded C / Consumer Electronics

A huge company based in the midlands are seeking several veteran contractors to come in and join their expanding team. The company are expanding their product base and as such have a rise in need for embedded electronics engineers.

Key criteria: development of volume production - medium to high volume- telecoms, medical or electronics. Heavily experienced in Consumer Electronics.

The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified in a relevant subject (Electronics / Software engineering or similar), with a minimum 5 years relevant commercial experience.

Key skill set:

l Expert C programming skills.

l Full software design life-cycle experience.

l Good communication and inter-personal skills. An ability to technically lead others.

l Embedded control systems experience using SOC (system-on-chip) devices.

l Device driver development skills and an ability to work from complex schematics.

The following skills and experience will further enhance your application

l Experience with ST microprocessor devices and tool-chains.

l Experience working in a fast-paced consumer electronics environment.

l Experience working with USB devices.

l Experience working with DC power systems and voltage conversion.
