Email Migration/Support Engineer

The Email Consolidation Project is managing the move off several Legacy email platforms onto a new Exchange 2007 Global Email service. This covers circa 45000 users across the UK, Western Europe, India, and the United Arab Emirates. The role will be based in Lithuania for a period of 12 months. The requirement will be working within the Migration Team providing 2nd and 3rd level fault diagnosis and fault resolution as well as Migrations from various Legacy platforms to one standard platform.

ESSENTIAL

- Fluent (Read/Write/Speak) in English
- Strong Migration Experience in an Enterprise Environment
- Strong Knowledge of Quest Toolset/Robocopy
- Microsoft Windows o/s experience - Especially for Windows XP.
- Experience providing remote fault analysis, via verbal communication and IT remote control tools.
- Strong communication and customer focus skills with emphasis on end client
- Active Directory user account administration experience
- Ability to work under their own initiative without constant guidance
- Ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with other support and development teams
- Ability to cope under pressure in a highly visible environment
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
- To be flexible with work times, in order that any major problems are resolved as quickly as possible when the need arises
- Strong Organisational skills

DESIRABLE

- Previous Banking experience
- IMAC Experience in an Enterprise Environment
- ITIL, MCSE or any IT desktop accreditations.

CHECKLIST FOR SUPPORT ENGINEER

- Must have performed migration engineer role in last 18 months
- Must have 6 months migration engineers experience
- Must have AD account administration experience
- Understand Group Profiles
- Must have Quest Storage Suite experience

OR

- Must have Robocopy experience

OR

- Must have Account Migration QMM experience
- Must have Windows XP Experience
- Must have done remote desktop management
- Must have private sector experience and at least 1 Financial Services experience
- Excellent communication Skills
- Flexible Working, like extended hours and some weekends
