Electronics Product Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Electronics Product Engineer is a key position in the highly profitable and growing Electronics Re-manufacturing area. The expanding product portfolio contains both client and external client designed electronics including ECU's, Displays, and other electronic devices.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Close collaboration with the new electronic component organizations.
- Evaluate new NPI opportunities, both internal and external client product.
- Responsible for Customer Satisfaction through Warranty Reduction.
- Green Belt leader or SME on projects.
- Interface with Dealers in troubleshooting and support.
- Evaluating and implement component salvage and cost reduction.
- Responsible for validation of salvage and NPI projects.
- Maintains product support documentation, print releasing and maintenance.
- Potential travel.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0-3 years minimum work experience in the design, development, test, or manufacturing of Electronics hardware.
- Strong electrical/electronics aptitude and understanding of schematics and components.
- Strong understanding and ability to develop and execute validation plans.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong initiative and follow through.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bilingual English - Spanish.
- Previous 6 Sigma, Black Belt, or leadership experience.
- Work experience with Embedded Controls software and strategies.
- Validating testing or test engineering experience.
