Electronics / Hardware/ Digital/ PCB/ Design Engineer - A key communications client based in the Exeter area is currently looking for an Electronics / Hardware/ Digital/ PCB/ Design Engineer to work both independently and closely with other team members and departments within the company.

Necessary Skills:
* Degree qualified and/or with good design experience of complex, high speed embedded electronics
* Competent with full lifecycle of electronic product design from schematic input through to output of manufacturing, production and test data
* Experience of design and layout of high speed custom PCIe cards
* Fluent knowledge of working with the Altium Designer package

Areas of Competency:
* The design of high speed, high power, differential pair / controlled impedance / controlled length interfaces
* Working with dense, space constrained PCBs
* Layout of microprocessors, DDR memories, Ethernet, digital video, USB sub-systems etc
* Knowledge of EMC/RF issues
* Knowledge of DFM and DTF issues

Desirables:
* Development of embedded firmware for proprietary, complex electronics devices
