Electronics Engineer [itar/SC Cleared] Design & Documentation

Our Client is seeking an Electronics Engineer for a 6 month Contract to work on alarm devices for the defence industry. There is the likelihood of extensions.

Requirement for this position is NATO born & British Citizenship for security reasons.

ROLE:

- Support the design and development of products/solutions to company and customer specific applications.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- 2-3+ years of analogue electronics design experience
- Troubleshooting, fault-finding electronics down to component level and repairing them.
- Experience with documentation is key.
- Previous experience taking a product through the full life cycle from conceptual stage, designs, prototyping, manufacturing.

BENEFICIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous experience designing electronics within a safety-critical industry, ideally in aerospace or defence.
- Knowledge of working with both high voltages (up to 70kW)
- Experience with low power electronics (different teams/products within the business)
