Electronics Engineer, (Analogue, SMPS, EMC)East Midlands, £35ph+

My client based in Cambridgeshire is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join an experienced and versatile engineering team to work on the latest development of cost-effective designs for use in a wide range of products.

You will be involved the development of future product lines from cradle to grave, creating PCB layout designs and schematic entry, along with being involved in design and peer reviews. This role is ideal for a committed engineer with a strong work ethic and logical approach to engineering issues.

The successful candidate will have the following:

-Product design experience
-Discrete Electronics design
-Familiar with Switch Mode Power Supply
-Familiar with high voltage circuit protection
-Experience within high volume manufacturing, design for manufacture and design for test

This is a 4 month contract opportunity, with potential for extension. The role is commutable from Leicester,Cambridge,PeterboroughandNorthampton.
