Electronics Engineer,North West, 4 Months, £30ph+

An Electronics Engineer is required for an initial 4 month contract in theNorth Westto work on the design and development of hardware and firmware for high end electronics for the use mainly in military environments.

You will be joining a small team of experienced engineers, made up of a combination Electronics, Mechanical and Software Engineers. You will be responsible for the following:

-PCB layout and schematic capture (experience with Altium Designer is beneficial)
-Carry out detailed electronic circuit design (including simulation and design verification testing)
-Component sourcing (taking into account costing and obsolescence issues)

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

-Digital electronic design (microprocessors/microcontrollers, programmable logic, embedded firmware)
-Analogue electronic design (SMPS design, design for EMC)
-Schematic capture, PCB design and simulation

This is an initial 4 month contract with view to extend past that working on a range of projects.
