Electronics Engineer

Position: Electronic Engineer

Rate: 30-35 p/h negotiable

Relevant Experience:

In depth knowledge of mixed signal electronics is required. The use of tool chains for schematics simulation, design and implementation is a prerequisite. Knowledge of PCB design tools is desirable but not essential. Excellent organisational and communication skills are particularly important as the role will involve reporting technical and non-technical content to all levels within the site and beyond.

Skills:

*Development of analogue and/or digital wideband radio receivers for use in a laboratory environment.
*Strong collaboration working with other project and departmental team members to deliver technical solutions and designs to cost and schedule.
*Produce analytically driven designs using tools such as LTSpice, Matlab/Simulink and or Saber.
*Work in conjunction with other disciplines within engineering to develop additional hardware where required.
*Generate regular reports for the purposes of communication and traceability and review progress with engineering manager and project manager.
