Electronics Engineer - Permanent - Gloucestershire

Salary range £30K - £35K pa + very attractive benefits package.

An exciting Electronics Engineering role at a leading global oil & gas company based in Gloucestershire has become available. This company provides leading electronic equipment and services in the oil & natural gas well industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering and developing new systems. The successful candidate will be required to provide technical support to other departments in the company and have a basic understanding of mechanical principals.

Ideal candidates will have a wealth of experience in the electronic engineering sector and will be able to demonstrate previous work with electronics and have previous work experience in the oil & gas sector.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK

Required:
*
* Degree (2:1 or above) - Electronics Engineering /Equivalent
* At least 2 - 5 years experience in high temperature electronics
* Clear understanding of mechanical principles
* Electronic design
* Ability to mentor junior engineers
* Experience of electronic CAD for Schematic capture
* Clear understanding of mechanical principles
* Ability to work in a team
* Good knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook
* Good communication at all levels.

Desirable:
* Experience of working in the down-hole oil and gas industry
* Experience of working in the automotive industry on under car bonnets.
