THE ROLE:
An Electronics business renowned globally for producing market leading electronic technology for the electrical power transmission and distribution sector require an Electronics Engineer for an initial 6 month contract period.

They have a requirement for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to work on a project with key delivery deadlines. You should be an Electronics Engineer that can be versatile and can work throughout the product lifecycle, from design to EMC test.

You will be responsible for the design and verification of your work, and will be required to use your Electronic Analogue and Digital circuitry skills. Ideally you will have FPGA knowledge as you will be working alongside the FPGA Engineers. You should have experience working with large Embedded Microcontrollers / Microprocessors (ideally 32 bit). Ethernet communication and DSP experience, and basic C programming coding to test would be desirable, but is not essential.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Analogue and Digital circuitry experience
Embedded Microcontroller experience (32 bit would be ideal)
Electronic full lifecycle experience. Design to EMC Test

DISIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
FPGA knowledge (You should be comfortable communicating with the FPGA Engineers)
DSP (TI DSP chip experience would be ideal)
Ethernet communications
Embedded C programming to Test
