Electronics Build Technician

My client a leading Automotive/Motorsport organisation is seeking a Electronics Build Technician, to join their work force on an initial 6 month contract working on some very exciting projects at the forefront of technology.

Role Purpose:
To build KERS power electronics and battery monitoring systems for delivery to Battery build department. You will be required to build electronic and subassemblies.

Operational Duties:
*Ensure that all assemblies are built to a build procedure and that build logbooks are completed and are visible for inspection.
*Provide hands on support for final preparation of all parts.
*Record and work with department performance measures for target date delivery performance and cause of any downtime or delays.
*Assist in Identify ways to improve the department performance.
*Maintain positive relationships with all other factory departments.
*To follow the company's health and Safety policy
*Maintain high standard of staff and department presentation, as appropriate for a showcase facility visited by potential sponsors and other VIPs
