Electronics Analogue Design Engineer

Senior Analogue Design Engineer, Gloucestershire, 12 Month Contract.

I have a current requirement for an experienced Analogue Design Engineer to design and develop analogue and power supply board-level circuits and systems.

Skills:

- Mixed signal and switch-mode power supply circuits, and the design of their associated PCBs.
- Good knowledge and experience of applicable test equipment used for circuit measurements, network analysers, component analysers, scopes, spectrum analysers, etc.
- Practical experience of prototype build and test, and making system/circuit measurements.

Interest or experience in the following:

Design and implementation of software used to control hardware using languages such as LabVIEW, Matlab, C, perl, etc.

Design, analysis and implementation of analogue closed-loop feedback control systems.

General product design aspects - thermal, mechanical, etc.

RF design and working methods as applied to analogue circuits and the characteristics of components at high frequencies.

High-speed analogue designs into volume production.
