Electronic Trading Platform: Mid-Level Java

A leader in providing electronic trading platforms for multiple asset classes is actively seeking an experienced Java/J2EE Software Engineer to join its team in its downtown Boston office. You will be working with an electronic trading system built on JEE and Oracle on the server side with rich interface GUI. Ideally, this team is looking for someone with JEE backend and Oracle expertise. In addition, this is a hands on developer position within a fast paced and high transaction environment. Initially you will be working on backend development but experience with web technologies sich as Javascript, JQuery, and ExtJS is ideal. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with the latest technologies within the industry and to work on a team that values a work/life balance. Key Notes Include: - Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field - Strong core java knowledge in addition to OO design skills - Data modeling and database development expeirence in addition to Spring, hibernate, and JMS experience - Experience with Javascript, CSS, and JSP
