ELECTRONIC PATIENT RECORD PROGRAMME MANAGER

Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit an Electronic Patient Record Programme Manager to help us revolutionise patient care across Cumbria.

We're looking for someone to lead and take responsibility for the delivery of one of our key IMT programmes; our Electronic Patient Record programme. The Trust is working towards an IMT service modernisation plan for both Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group and CPFT. This process will mean revamping our information systems and IT infrastructure in order to drive true state-of-the-art services. It's an environment of change, innovation and improvement with an opportunity for you to be in at the start of a new era and therefore influence the future of this large and complex environment.

The successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate significant experience of operating and delivering large scale and technically complex projects and leading others through transformational change.

Experience in managing multiple large scale IMT projects will be a key attribute. You will need proven people management skills as well as a flair for building relationships at every level. Your proven experience in developing, managing, monitoring and delivering projects at a corporate, strategic and project level will be vital. You must be experienced in leading and driving teams by managing key corporate initiatives through project methodologies. Experience of Electronic Patient Record implementation would be a desirable attribute.

The Electronic Patient Record Programme Manager will be responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of the Electronic Patient Record programme on behalf of the Trust. In particular you will be responsible for leading the technical work streams during the design, development, integration and implementation and managing key IT suppliers to ensure a smooth transition from multiple systems to our new integrated electronic patient record RiO existing over the next 18 months.

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a practical application of the principles of programme management or project management discipline (eg MSP or Prince 2). ITIL or BCS registration will also mark potential successful candidates out from others, although this is not essential.

This requires an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated individual who responds positively to new challenges. The Electronic Patient Record Programme Manager will be responsible for the delivery of high quality and professional services to a fast growing user base.
