MY CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL PROJECT MANAGER WITH A BACKGROUND IN ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING OR MANUFACTURING TO HEAD UP KEY PROJECTS WITHIN THEIR IMAGING DEPARTMENT.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Initiating, execute, monitoring and controlling the projects life cycle to ensure delivery to the plans triple constraints; scope, timescales & budget.
- To ensure that the Project's processes adhere to agreed company procedures and standards at all times and ensuring that any legal requirements are meet.
- To provide effective leadership, motivation and appropriate people management of the project's team members
- Manage projects in response to uncertainty through planning and reducing for risk whilst establishing appropriate mitigations and contingency pans
- Preparing, publishing, project plans and required documentation for bids, tender vets, and other initiated or planned phases within projects
- Effectively communicate project performance, issues and risks to all stakeholders (and where appropriate manage expectations) in the project. This includes but is not limited to production request meetings and Project Reviews.
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are coherently and effectively joined to all other facets of the business. This includes support services (eg compliance, DO & purchasing), manufacturing as well as marketing and Sales.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements of Project Management process and procedures and support improvement opportunities
- Prevent specification creep and negotiate project changes in the best interests of the project.
- Develop other team members by sharing own expertise with groups and individuals.
- Proactively work to improve group performance by identifying weakness and developing solutions to correct these.
- Assisting in developing action plans for projects which are encountering difficulties and support the existing project team in implementing these
- Act as project Chair on projects across the company as required
- Act as delegate for Head of Project during absence as required.
