Electronic Drawing Office Technician - EDO

Electronic Drawing Office Technician - EDO required for a leading global oil and gas company based in Farnborough. The successful candidate will work with a small team of EDO staff supporting both New Product Introduction programmes and sustaining the engineering activities of an industry-leading design team. This role will encompass processing and actioning engineering change requests, printed circuit board design activities and component library maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO:

- Processing ECRs to maintain our product designs in a current and manufacturable state.
- Provide support to Development Engineers in circuit schematic preparation and BOM production for new designs.
- Prepare schematics/PCB designs for manufacture.
- Produce drawn documents - wiring diagrams, panel layouts etc.

ATTRIBUTES:

- Computer literate and familiar with standard Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience of MRP/ECR systems.
- Experience with PCB/schematic capture software, preferably Altium Designer (PCB Layout not essential but would be an advantage).
- Ability to use computer packages to produce simple CAD drawings, preferably AutoCAD.
- Ability to communicate clearly with Engineers and Managers.
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the business
