Electronic Design Internship - Valeo Sylvania

This exciting opportunity is designed for students in the Electronic Engineering area of study and will offer an introduction to defining potential electronic schematics for LEDs to use during feasibility and customer RFQ answer phases. This internship offers the opportunity to work on the introduction of LED electronic solutions to provide to our customer cost competitive technical products. You will work alongside talented engineers and scientists and receive hands-on job experience focusing on the following areas:

•Conduct a survey of new LED integrated circuit drivers available in the market for low cost rear signal function like Turn Indicator, Rear Fog, or Rear Backup. Based on findings, prepare a technical digest for customer. •Conduct a survey of LED electronic schematics allowed for high power LED controls (from 2.5W to 10W, with voltage supply up to 24V) and prepare a technical digest for customer. •Create electronics breadboard mock-ups to validate the most interesting solution identified during the above research projects. •Assist with a part of the electronic design verification tests of available products in development during this internship period (temperature measurement, power efficiency, Voltage / Temperature operating domain characterization).

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor's level degree in an engineering discipline. Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
