Electronic Design Engineer

Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking an Electronic Design Engineer.

Main skills:
* Provide detailed technical evidence, reports and presentations as required by the gated design review process.
* Liaise with external third party software engineers to facilitate system integration activities.
* Ability to work unsupervised and ensuring repeated delivery of the necessary quality output in line with agreed objectives/strict timescales in line with critical project milestones.
* To design and commission the circuit designs including PCB layout and bench-level debugging of through-hole and surface-mount designs. A three stage iteration program is planned over the first 10 month period.
* Demonstrate appropriate Engineering rigor and discipline in all design activities.
* To support the transfer of designs from Engineering to Production

We are looking for an engineer who has experience within a high-reliability, safety-critical equipment industry such as automotive, aerospace, and also looking for an engineer who has a degree in Electronic Systems Design, or similar.

Ideally an engineer who with strong knowledge of design tools (Altium, PSPICE, Labview, etc) and also experience using ECAD tools (Schematic Capture, PCB layout, Circuit Simulation) is essential.
