Electronic Associate Engineer

SUMMARY

- This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and validation of sensors and portable data acquisition equipment that is used to collect test data on machines.
- This position requires that the applicant must be physically able to climb safely on and off large equipment to perform these tasks.
- The PPG Instrument Group provides quality test-data to the Global Machine Development test community through application of and support for instrumentation on equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

- This person must be a team player that demonstrates creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability, mechanical aptitude, and detail orientation.
- This position requires an associates degree in Electronics or equivalent electronics experience.
- The applicant must display the attributes of a critical thinker and leverage innovative ideas.
- Prior experience with electronic measurement techniques and/or heavy equipment experience is desired.
- Knowledge of a Wheatstone Bridge and the ability to apply Ohms Law.
- Computer application skills will be required to support job requirements, including MS Excel, MS Word, and email.
