Electromechanical Engineering Technician Job

ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ISSAQUAH, WA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Electronics/mechanical technician work regarding updating an old design to be RoHS compliant.
- Will work with low-voltage DC electronic components (surface mount and thru-hole) on medical device.
- The individual will also be involved wwith R&D development for a future platform to be worked on in the near future.
- Creation and approval for ECR/ECOs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Have hands-on experience with low-voltage DC electronic components (surface mount and thru-hole)
- Experience in Altium Designer building schematics, creating library components, and laying out large PCB's with up to eight (8) layers and high-density chips
- Familiar with RoHS compliance and able to retrieve RoHS evidence of replacements
- Have hands-on experience with PCB-related mechanical components such as connectors, heat-sinks, and fasteners
- Comfortable working in an online PDM tool (they'll need a little training on this, we can do that internally here though)
- Familiar with creating ECR/ECOs and the process of approval
- Analog and digital design experience preferred
- Works well in a team and is willing to put in extra hours if needed
- Experience with Microsoft Office
