Electricity Engineer

For one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, we are currentlylooking for an ELECTRICITY ENGINEER

Start: April 2013
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of being extended
Location: South of Brussels (different sites)

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
Provide support to project teams for engineering, constructionmanagement and qualification in the area of Electricity (powerdistribution)..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for development, coordination, follow up of all technicalmatters related to electrical distribution installations, including butnot limited to: HV (36-11kV), LV (0.4kV), emergency generators.
- Ensure the design, construction, transformation & revamps,commissionning and qualificatione client's Belgian facilities onschedule and within budget & compliance requirements (in respect ofthe technology and standards).
- Coordinate and supervise engineering offices and/or contractors(including on safety aspects).
- Define, develop, analyze and approve specific technical requirementsin projects.
- Perform network calculations with softwares in use
- Advice projects partners about technical choices
- Ensure preparation and update of the project qualification.
- Organize, monitor and approve qualification activities of theinstallations
- Ensure the works inspections and the related documentation(commissionning protocols) issuance according to quality standards
- Ensure systems electrical legal conformity
- Participate to FAT or specific meeting abroad
- Supervise, participate and execute FAT, test and commissioningactivities of electrical installations (energised or not) respectfullyof electrical certification and LOTO procedure.
- Works include offices activities as well as field activities(energising, manoeuvres, lock-out).
- High sense of quality and of respect of the procedures

PREREQUISITES:
Education:
- Engineering degree in electricity domain (electrical distributionnetwork).

Knowledge:
- Bilingual French/English
- Software Tr-Ciel/Elec Calc
-MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- National electrical Code (RGIE)
- Electrical norms and standards
-"BA4-BT" and "BA5-BT" formally certified

Experience:
- Have already demonstrated success in implementing its discipline inminor or major projects.
- Over 5 to 10 years experience post graduation in its discipline
- Good skills and competencies level in engineering activities: organization, cost, time schedule,
- contracting, procurement, qualification/validation, technologies
-Field experience knowledge and background in various technical aspects(design, construction,

as built check of drawings, FDS, start-up, operation,)
- Good knowledge in technical definition and organization of projects,
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure due to the requested flexibility andreactivity of the activities
- Autonomous
- Ability to work in project teams in a multidisciplinary environmentand a matricial organization
- Technology oriented
