Electrician

Job Description

Installation of Electrical equipment including terminations of fuse panel equipment and installation of various plugs. Cable running, dressing and banding.

Responsibilities:
Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other specifications.
Use the appropriate methods and techniques to fit, wire and connect electrical equipment and components.
Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been finished to meet the required specification.
Use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Additional Information
Qualifications/Experience
Time Served Electrician
C + G Parts 1-3 (or equivalent)
NVQ Level 3 (Dependent on time served date)
Demonstrate experience in Shipbuilding, Nuclear, Petro-chem, Offshore, Marine, Heavy Engineering
Demonstrate experience in cable running, dressing & banding.
